BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

France's health and scientific framing is centered on prioritizing numbers, experts such as virologists, the World Health Organization, and Médecins Sans Frontières, and transmission mechanisms over the political narrative in the Congo.

The French government prefers institutional and medical sources from the Congo and the United Nations, cited through correspondences, over direct testimony from the field.

There is limited coverage of local security dynamics, such as armed groups like the Allied Democratic Forces, which are only mentioned as logistical obstacles to response efforts, without further development.
