According to El Colombiano, the controversy sparked on Saturday by Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, resulted in a stock market decline on Monday in New York: the Dow Jones fell 0.29%, the Nasdaq 0.56%, and the S&P 500 0.48%, with a more marked decline among semiconductor manufacturers — Nvidia (-3.36%), Broadcom (-4.77%), Micron (-5.25%), AMD (-4.40%), and Intel (-5.59%), all of which are essential for building the data centers where AI models are trained.
