BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

White House-centered framing: outlets heavily relay Trump's account via Truth Social citations without detailed Canadian counterpoint on actual negotiation status.

Preference for sectoral economic angles (spirits, energy, agriculture): limited coverage of political fallout in Canada, such as Quebec sovereignty debates.

Sparse coverage of finalization timeline: outlets lack clarity on what must be signed or the risk that the pause expires without a final agreement.
