BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Bilateral-centric framing: the narrative focuses on the direct confrontation between the US and Canadian governments, extensively quoting Carney and Greer, without placing it within a broader American trade strategy.

Limited coverage of African implications: no article delves into the potential consequences of this dispute for West African economies or trade discussions specific to Nigeria.

Preference for official statements: the articles rely almost exclusively on public statements and interventions from Carney and Greer, with little use of independent economic data.
