BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Diaspora-centered framing: pronounced emphasis on Chinese-Venezuelan community casualties and mobilization, overshadowing proportional coverage of the 1,943 Venezuelan deaths.

National expertise preference: Chinese seismologist positioned as primary expert explaining regional seismic geology.

Limited coverage of local institutional failures: aid distribution inequities and Venezuelan institutional difficulties receive minimal attention.
