BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Portugal's media focus on Alice Weidel's statements, with Portuguese articles extensively quoting her without providing an equivalent-length counterpoint from an opposing source.

« prevendo que o chanceler Friedrich Merz seja “substituído até ao Natal” »
observador.pt ↗

The Portuguese coverage omits the voices of German opposition parties, failing to cite any reactions from democratic parties such as the SPD and the Greens regarding possible scenarios following the outcome.

« No entanto, ainda não é certo que consiga formar governo, uma vez que os restantes partidos têm rejeitado uma coligação com a AfD. »

Inconsistent figures are presented across sources, with two different percentages circulating within the same corpus without being explicitly reconciled.

« com 44,5% dos votos, segundo as primeiras projeções »
