These perspectives focus their analysis on the precise count of seats (39 out of 83, majority at 42) and the mutual blockade created by the entry of the BSW, without prioritizing a political or ideological explanation of the vote.

BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Germany's party-centric framing: the reactions cited in the German press come almost exclusively from federal party leaders (SPD, Greens, CDU), rather than the voters themselves.

« Regierungsverantwortung sei nicht »nice to have«, sondern »das, wofür wir da sind: für die Bürger Politik zu machen«, sagte Stegner der Zeitung Die Welt. »

Moral interpretation of the electorate: the on-the-ground report interprets the AfD vote through the supposed denial of voters to real immigration-related issues, without extensively quoting AfD voters themselves.

« Konkrete Probleme, die es beispielsweise mit Asylbewerbern gibt und die von anderen Parteien sowie Medien gern auch geleugnet werden, verschwinden bei den Leuten Siegmunds in ihrer Behauptung, so gut wie alle Probleme hingen irgendwie mit Asylbewerbern zusammen. »
