BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Argentine media outlets focus on the personal trajectory of Hui Ka Yan, from steelworker to Asia's wealthiest individual and now a life sentence in prison, rather than the systemic mechanisms of Chinese real estate financing

The Argentine government notes that the two articles barely cover the impact of Evergrande's default on foreign creditors or the concrete repercussions on markets outside of China

Buenos Aires-based newspapers, such as Clarín and Ámbito, prefer to use wire reports, reproducing nearly identical elements on the Shenzhen court's decision without conducting their own on-the-ground reporting from China
