BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

India's national framing of the missing persons focuses on the count of Indian nationals rather than the overall Nepalese toll.

« Among those unaccounted for are 142 Indian nationals, many of whom were on pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet. »

India's narrative relies heavily on official statements from Modi and his government, rather than independent sources.

« India is ready to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal. »
