BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Sovereignist framing: the responsibility for the insecurity in the strait is entirely attributed to Washington, with no mention of the concerns of the Gulf coastal residents

« The insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz is the result of US actions, and if the international community is concerned about rising fuel prices, it should reprimand the United States »

Institutional support: the retained statements come from government officials and the command of the Revolutionary Guards alone

« considered it a "strategic and deterrent weapon" at the disposal of the Islamic Republic of Iran »
