The Iranian narrative combines diplomatic intransigence and pride in its Lebanese proxy's military deterrence.

Supreme Leader advisor Mohsen Rezaei publicly declared that 'the Iranian army's patience is limited' and that Tehran 'will not tolerate an escalation of tensions in Lebanon.' The official IRNA agency specified that Mokhber, president of the Discernment Council, met with the Hezbollah representative in Tehran — a maximal institutional signal of support.
