BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Australia-focused framing: the articles concentrate on the Arcachon Bay, leaving Spain and Italy in the background despite similar tolls.

Preference for syndicated dispatches (Reuters, shared content from Sydney Morning Herald/The Age) over Australian correspondents on the ground.

Low coverage of long-term prevention measures (land development, forest management) in favor of the immediate emergency narrative.
