BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

The Chilean government views the US security framework as credible: Santiago's La Tercera newspaper has adopted the US Central Command's characterization of the targeted tankers as financing the IRGC, without citing any independent expertise.

The Chilean perspective relies solely on official statements: the Iranian account reported by BioBioChile is based exclusively on the Fars agency and state-run IRIB television, with no independent sources on the ground.
