BIASES AND FRAMING IDENTIFIED

Spain's tourism-focused framing: coverage prioritizes crowd numbers, economic impact, and logistics over the sole scientific aspect of the eclipse.

Preference for local tensions: testimonies from concerned residents of Ibiza and small rural towns take center stage alongside astronomical explanations in Spanish media.

Limited coverage of the international dimension: little context is provided in relation to other territories within the path of totality (Greenland, Iceland) in the Spanish corpus.
